What guitars do the huggerz fit?

Currently, the huggerz will fit the USA Fender Stratocasters, Mexican Stratocasters and Fender Squier Strats made in:
• Indonesia
• India
• China
The hugger may also fit other Stratocaster or Squier By Fender Stratocaster models.

How do I know where my Stratocaster was manufactured?

The location of the manufacturer should either be on the front or the back of the headstock.

Do you sell a hugger that fits other guitars (besides Stratocasters & Squires)?

Currently, we only sell huggerz that fit Stratocasters and Squiers. However, we are in the developmental stages of manufacturing huggerz for Fender Telecaster, Ibanez, Gibson and many other guitar models. Keep an eye on our company news page for up-to-date information.

What is the hugger made of?

The hugger is made of PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol). PETG is a softer formable food grade plastic that is naturally colorless. Even though it is relatively flexible, it is strong and has a very high impact resistance.

Do I have to modify my guitar to use a hugger?

Absolutely not! Use of the hugger requires no modification to the guitar.

Is the hugger permanent (can I reuse the hugger)?

The hugger is not permanent. You can remove and reuse the hugger as often as you like!

How does the hugger fit onto the guitar?

Do all huggerz fit the same?

No. Almost all guitar bodies are different dimensionally. Where most of the guitars today are manufactured using CNC Machines, there are many variables that cause variations in size (programs, tooling, location of manufacturer, etc).

What tools do I need to install the hugger?

You need a small Phillips screwdriver and a pair of scissors and/or an x-acto knife.

Will the hugger protect the guitar?

Yes. Due to the protective properties of the PETG material used to make the hugger; the hugger will protect the guitar from dings and scratches.

What kind of paint can I use to customize my hugger?

You can use any kind of spray paint (or other paint – airbrush) available at your local hardware or hobby store.
